We have receiv'd a continuation of the remarks on the
Virginia Pindar; but must take the liberty to postpone it,
that we may give room for a piece on the other side of the

Mr Addison, in his admired Tragedy of Cato, has the very
same expression:
  O Portius! is there not some chosen curse, 
  Some hidden thunder in the stores of heaven, 
  Red with uncommon wrath, to blast the man
  That owes his greatness to his country's ruin?
